Your file never leaves your browser. The check runs on this page, on your device. Your file isn't uploaded or stored, and we can't see it or the results. Close the page and they're gone.

Your product CSVShopify: Products, then Export, then "Plain CSV file". Wix: Store Products, then More Actions, then Export. Optional, Shopify only: your "Duties and import taxes" CSVShopify keeps HS codes and country of origin outside the product CSV. Without this file they show as blank.

What this checks

Barcodes: blank, placeholder values such as "n/a", the GS1 check digit and length, values damaged by a spreadsheet, the same barcode on two variants, and numbers that aren't product barcodes (such as in-store codes starting with 20 to 29, or example numbers starting with 952).
SKUs: blank, repeated or placeholder.
HS codes: blank, fewer than 6 digits, or not in the HS 2022 list.
Country of origin: blank, or not a recognised country.

It uses the same column rules and barcode checks as our $49 Check, so the counts should match what the Check would flag in the same file. Gift cards and items marked "requires shipping: false" are left out.

What it can't tell you

Whether a barcode really belongs to that product. A number can pass the check digit and still be wrong.
Whether an HS code is the right one for the product. Please classify it yourself or with your carrier or customs agent.
Whether the rules apply to your parcels. Your carrier or customs broker can confirm that.
